Our engagement pictures!

One of the most fun parts of wedding planning so far has been our engagement photos. It was the first time Matt and I ever did a photoshoot together and it was so fun to capture us as we were in that moment. We had two incredible experiences with two different photographers. We connected with Laura from Boston Mountain Photo online as she was traveling into NYC and was looking for a couple to photograph while she was here. I was so excited to connect and get photos of us at some of the most iconic views in NYC like the Top of the Rock and the Brooklyn Bridge. Laura brought a white jumpsuit from Lulu's and earrings for me to wear during the first half of our shoot and then I changed into a gorgeous black Marchesa dress for the Top of the Rock that I rented from Rent the Runway (use code RTRKYLEE for 40% off your first month!). It was cold and lightly misting all day, and we ended up being one of only a few people to be at typically incredibly busy spots! Our photos came out so stunning and we used them for our Christmas cards and engagement party invites, which was here in NYC!

In 2021, we found our dream wedding photographer, Chrissy, from C. Jamie Camera Creative. She really captures the style that we are going for: candid, personal, and editorial. She has an amazing knack of capturing really beautiful moments and making you super comfortable. We met her at Batram's Garden just outside of Philly for a shoot in early June. We wanted the photos to be on brand with the look and feel of our wedding: light, bright, colorful, and fun! She absolutely nailed it. For the first set of photos, I wore mom jeans from Abercrombie and a white top from Amazon with my beloved Converse. Then, I wore this dress from Amazon after a kerfuffle ordering it elsewhere and these shoes from Just Fab. We had SO much fun doing this shoot!
